Periodically my husband insists on taking over the money and bill paying. This never lasts long. He says my records-keeping is confusing (probably so I can hide all that money he thinks we have).

The transfer went relatively smoothly, considering that we tend to fight about money.

I reread a letter from my mom where she equates money with power in a relationship. Regardless of that thought, I am glad to be done with the money.

Now I can get the money I need from what Will tells me we have, while at the same time knowing if he’s telling the truth because I also have access to accounts (just as he had when I paid the bills).
